At Wallsend medical practice, each doctor operates independently regarding fee and billing. Payment for consultations is required at the time of your visit and can be made using cash, EFTPOS, or Credit Card (excluding American Express).
Medicare rebates can be electronically processed for direct deposit into your bank account, ensuring convenient reimbursement.

Your claim can be electronically transmitted to Medicare so that your rebate can be directly deposited into your bank account.

It is a medicare requirement that you present your medicare card at the time of each consultation.
After-hours rates apply before 8 am on weekdays.
There is no medicare rebate for pre-employment or Insurance medicals.
Department of veterans affairs (DVA) patients are billed directly to DVA. Patients are asked to present their cards at each visit.
Aged pensioners or health care card holders may be offered a discounted fee. Patients are asked to present their cards at each visit.
Workers compensation consultations are billed at WorkCover approved rates. Patients are supposed to pay at the time of the consultation and will be able to claim back the whole fee from the WorkCover.
