Pathology Collection

Wallsend Healthcare offers a pathology collection point for patient convenience. Pathology samples are collected by the pathology provider’s own trained nurse, not by our clinical staff.

Patients who have a valid pathology referral can attend the collection point during the specified collection hours to have their tests performed. A range of routine investigations, including blood and urine tests, can be completed at the collection point.

This arrangement ensures samples are collected by accredited pathology professionals and sent directly to approved laboratories for accurate and timely testing, supporting efficient patient care.
